Topganic Morocco Argan Oil Shampoo and Conditioner SLS/SLES/Paraben and Paraffin Free

Hey Everyone!

First of all I apologize for not able to blog a post yesterday, my internet went bonkers and stopped working since yesterday afternoon. Finally it started working fine today morning only and here I am back with another review and this time it will be my current shampoo and conditioner.

So today I'll be reviewing Topganic Morocco Argan Oil Shampoo and Conditioner which claims to be SLS/SLES/Paraben and Paraffin free! I bought both the shampoo and conditioner along with their hair mask and argan oil treatment serum way back in June from a local malaysian site. Got all the four item for around 1800 INR which is quite a good deal!

I have been using the shampoo and conditioner from this range since July, so finally after using it for almost 2 months I thought let me review both of them for my readers. I am probably the last to jump on the sls and paraben free band wagon. Lot of us are shifting to sls free shampoos and conditioners these days and I am definitely one of them but to find decent sls free shampoo range is quite a task. Previously I have tried The Body Shop Rain Forest range and absolutely hated it! So when I came across this range from Topganics being SLS and Paraben free plus having benefits of Morocco Argan oil I thought why not lets give it a chance and I am happy that I did!

Both the shampoo and conditioner come in dark maroon brown plastic bottle packaging with a push up nozzle. The plastic bottle feels quite cheap and is very thin, if you press too hard the bottle gets pressed badly, you can see what happened to my conditioner bottle for reference. Both of them contain 250ml of product which is quite decent size since you don't need much product for your hair to begin with. I am using both of them together atleast 3 times a week since July and still have 1/3rd of the product left in both of them which I feel will last me throughout September so definitely worth it for the price I would say.

Ingredient List
Shampoo: water, sodium coceth sulfate, cocamidopropyl betaine, cocamide dea, polyquatemium-7, propylene glycol, aloe barbadensis leaf juice, phenoxyethanol, glyceryl stearate, fragrance (supplement), panthenol, polyquatemium-10, argania spinosa kernel oil, benzoic acid, prunus amygdalus dulcis (sweet almond) oil, xanthan gum, dehydroacetic acid, citric acid, punica granatum extract, tocopheryl acetate (vitamin E), silt (Dead Sea mud) extract, methylisothiazolinone

Conditioner: water, cetyl alcohol, glycerin, isopropyl myristate, prunus amygdalus dulcis (sweet almond) oil, cetrimomium chloride (29%), vitis vinifera (grape) seed oil, calendula officinalis flower oil, aloe barbadensis leaf juice, polyquaternium-7, fragrance (perfume), Dead Sea water, phenoxyethanol, dimethicone, olea europaea (olive) fruit oil, argania spinosa kernel oil, benzoic acid, anthemis nobilis (chamomile) flower extract, citric acid, triticum vulgare (wheat) germ oil, sesamum indicum (sesame) seed oil, dehydroacetic acid, butyrospermum parkii (shea butter), tocopheryl acetate (vitamin E), methylisothiazolinone

Lets start with the Shampoo first, its almost transparent and has quite runny texture. It does not lather much but does cleanses the hair effectively without making them super dry. I find it pretty mild enough to be used for everyday. Although the co claims the product to be SLS and SLES free it does contain a sulphate "sodium coceth sulfate" which is derived from coconut oil still it is a sulphate and hence it does not make this shampoo sulphate free! I wish the companies would not play such gimmicks to try to fool the customers and mark the products sls and sles free when they are certainly not!

The conditioner comes out white and is thick and creamy. The conditioner goes well with the shampoo and makes the very super soft. I get a hell lot of tangles in my hair but with the use of this conditioner I definitely feel less tangles and even though there are tangles they are easily removed. It does add nice volume to the hair which you can see once the hair is fully dried. Since it contains many oils sometimes I feel it does weigh down the hair if used a little more so one has to be careful not to use a lot of conditioner since it will definitely weigh down your hair.I find my hair looks the best on second day after the wash..it feels soft and manageable and looks healthy!

Both the shampoo and conditioner have pleasant sweet smell not overly sweet so people with sensitive nose will not face any problems. I have not faced any hairfall issue because of using both of them, I do have some hairfall but using the shampoo and conditioner did not result in increase of  hairfall, infact I have found my hair does not fall that much as it used to be earlier but I will not give credit to the shampoo and conditioner alone since I have been using additional supplement for my hair as well so it may be because of them. Over all  both the products are decent and nothing extra ordinary and I will use them until I finish but will not be re-purchasing them again.

Round Up

Pros:-
-> Both are gentle enough to be used everyday
-> Shampoo cleans the scalp and hair well
-> Does not strip the hair of their natural oils
-> Gives lot of moisture to the hair
-> Contains goodness of almond oil, argan oil, grapeseed oil, aloe vera etc
-> Helps in de-tangling the hair effectively
-> Gives volume to hair
-> Makes  hair soft and manageable
-> Controls frizz to a certain extent

Cons:-
-> Definitely not a sulphate free shampoo
-> Conditioner may weigh down the hair if used more
-> Not available in India

Rating:- 3.7 out of 5

I like both the shampoo and conditioner but definitely not in love with them, still searching for a better sls and sles free shampoo and conditioner range, I would definitely recommend this range since it does the job well and didn't really harm my hair in anyway.

I hope the review was helpful, until next time take care and stay beautiful

Love,
Parita

  8. I use Topganic Morocco Argan Oil Shampoo and Conditioner and its a really good, It is also very interesting to know that argan oil shampoo and conditioners can help better in moisturizing the hair, can be used as an efficient leave-on treatment in order to improve hair's softness, smoothness and shine. Additionally, they also help prevent dry, frizzy, damaged and unmanageable hair. Argan Oil as Anti-Dandruff Shampoo
